light+life (and me)

light+life photography was born from a longtime love of photography, and the natural beauty and light of life. We all have an opportunity to bring and cast light into this world, and as a photographer there’s a unique opportunity I have to use not only the light of an environment, but the light of you, your family, and your story to capture a moment in time of your life.

My name is Keven (yes, for real). Who can begin to count the roles they take on and the interests and quirks that describe them? It’s silly to whittle them down to a digestible description, and if you mosey over to my blog you’ll learn some more of mine. As an intro, I’m humbled and blessed to be married to my phenomenal human of a husband and mama to sweet, strong, rambunctious young ones, and those roles are of paramount importance to me. We are an avid gardening family and spend a least a little of each day of the year outdoors. I have a background in healthcare by degree, a lifelong love and practice of music, and a deep joy in working with my hands and feeding people. I live in Weatherford, TX, and serve Weatherford and the surrounding areas. Whether it’s portraits, family sessions, maternity & newborn, branding, or events, I am here to help capture a glimpse of the candid and the posed, the natural light and life in every situation. I cherish people’s stories and my greatest desire is to practice seeing and hearing people just as they are; to me, things don't have to be complicated or “perfect” to be beautiful.
